Science:
Today we finished with our presentation on "geological time scale". For tomorrow, we will focus more on the significant events that occurred during each era or eon.

Language Arts:
We are reading our second novel "The Other Place" and the main focus is "Type of sentences - Simple, Compound and Complex"

Homework:
Science Geological Link Response in Science Journal
Revised Geological Timescale completed and glued in Field Study Journal

Hello everyone, A busy April so far! Here is a quick update on what we have been doing in our classroom: Math: We are working on Patterns and Relations and specifically focusing on Algebraic equations. Students are learning to solve for a variable in a given algebraic equation. For example,  find x, if 2x + 3 = 27. We have also worked on solving for variables where, the algebraic equations involve integers. For example, find x, if -3 + x = 9 Students should have completed the assignment sheet provided to them for solving these integer problems using preservation of equality method. Currently, students are also working on identifying the pattern and the relation between input and output in a provided table or diagrams using algebraic equation. Language Arts: Currently, students are working on Fables. All the students should have submitted a hard copy of their first draft and should have received initial feedback on their Fables by now.
